U.S. Rep. Bobby L. Rush Hosts 2nd Annual Franchise Business Conference
Chicago, IL. ---- Owning your favorite restaurant, athletic store or service provider with an established brand name, can become a reality when Congressman Bobby L. Rush hosts his 2nd Annual Franchise Business Conference on November 20, 2004 from 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. at the University of Chicago (Ida B. Noyes Hall), 1212 E. 59th Street (on the corner of Woodlawn and 59th Street), Chicago, IL.
In partnership with the University of Chicago, the International Franchise Association, the National Minority Franchise Initiative and the Franchise Partnership, the 2nd Annual Franchise Business Conference was designed to expose aspiring entrepreneurs to other business ownership options. Experts will be on-hand to discuss the process of buying a franchise as well as how participants can franchise their existing business. Attendees will also learn how to identify potential funding sources from franchise consultants, franchisers and franchisees.
Building economic wealth begins with ownership, and franchising is another option for entrepreneurs seeking to establish or grow their business, said Rush. With the 2nd Annual Franchise Business Conference, I look forward to seeing a growth of locally-owned businesses that are supported by the community.
The first 200 registrants will receive a free franchise guide. To register, call (708) 385-9550. For more information, please visit www.house.gov/rush.
