Rush Announces New Constituent Services Pop-Up Hours
WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Representative Bobby L. Rush (D-Ill.) announced that his office will be hosting a constituent services pop-up office this week on Friday, July 16th at the Chatham Education and Workforce Center (640 East 79th Street, Chicago, IL 60619) from 11AM–4PM CT.
Representatives from Rep. Rush's office will be present to assist constituents on a walk-in basis with services including Social Security, Medicare, Federal housing, immigration, passports, the IRS, veterans' issues, Federal prisons, the Small Business Administration, and other concerns related to federal agencies.
"Helping constituents with their federal cases is one of the most important — and gratifying — parts of my job," said Rep. Rush. "I am excited to announce that my office will be hosting a number of pop-up hours in the coming weeks and months, in locations throughout the 1st District, to give constituents an opportunity to receive nearby, in-person assistance with federal agencies and related issues in a timely, accessible manner."
On July 6th, Rep. Rush hosted a constituent services pop-up at Tinley Park Village Hall. Additional locations for office pop-ups will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
