WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Representative Bobby L. Rush (D-Ill.) announced that the Friend Family Health Center has been awarded $4,045,729 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The funding comes through the Health Resource and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Health Center Cluster grant program and is awarded on a competitive basis to grantees that have demonstrated quality care to the communities they serve.
